June life update: Embroidery exhibition, new members in my team and, of course, food :)

Hi loves! Here I am with another life update and a lot of food pics to share with you. I leave the playlist here because the experience is always better if you read this while listening to some good tunes. Enjoy!

It’s been a month for working on many projects at the same time and taking leaps of faith.

pizza marinara

I’ve been enjoying eating out my breakfasts, luches and dinners. Why, because I enjoy eating al fresco, always.

birds on a wire

That made me try some other activities like basketball, and embroidery while sunbathing (sort of, more like sun-shadow bathing)

The cats are so lively and beautiful right now. It makes me enjoy the outdoors even more. They look like prancing ponies.

Food this month has been a mixture between superduper healthy stuff and premade things that I could grab at the moment.

pho ramen soup

The reason being that I am participating in a collective exhibition with my embroidery art and illustrations. It has taken up a lot of time and effort and I’ve been enjoying it a lot.

seaweed nuts and chinese snacks

There’s also another reason, I am adding new members to my team, and I am so grateful for that. While I write this, I have my lovely Marta working beside me. It feels great and aligned and I am so thankful for that <3

plantain with cilantro

I started making fermented nut spreads again. I was craving them and I love to see the process when they start rising like sourdough. They taste great and make a perfect base for my breakfast bagels.

cashew cheese

Appart from that, I’ve been a tad tired lately, I might have had a cold and didn’t even noticed any symptoms, except for the tiredness. Everyone surrounding me said they got a cold, so that must be it.

beans

Sleeping is been tough too lately, I guess I’m a little bit more anxious lately for various reasons, but I keep reminding myself it’s just as any other feeling. It will pass and I can take advantage of the goodness it brings. Anxiety can be a good thing for getting things done sometimes. It’s been helping me with all the work I’m doing lately. Nonetheless, I add some calming practices like meditation or talking to my friends on the phone for a while. We heal each other by supporting each other.

I am really looking forward to the exhibition opening event this Saturday, I’ll leave a link with the info here, in case you are curious about it.

See you on the next one! Have fun and keep fooding!
