November playlist – 🎧 – October summary
Good day to you all! This October was a very special one. It was my birthday AND Halloween.
I know it happens every year, actually. But finally I could post more than one recipe for Halloween on the blog. Hurray! Like this mashed potatoes with kale:
I am a person who’s very into rituals and that sort of stuff. When it comes to Halloween or in my case Samhain, I get all over the place.
Appart from the main two events, I also worked on a new single, yeah!
I added the song to this month’s playlist so you can hear it. It’s the first one, I’m biased 🤣
This year was a very special Halloween too. Very intimate but very fun. You know, with all the restrictions I couldn’t invite all the people I wanted to invite. But that’s fine.
When there’s too much work I feel like I have nothing to share with you in my monthly sum-up, but then I recollect photos from my phone and see that, in fact, there are many things to share.
Work usually makes us focus on the most important task we’re doing, but there’s always time for fun (if you allow yourself to have fun).
I think having fun has become one of my priorities in life, although as with any good intention, I don’t practice it as much as I should.
But I think 2020 is helping me.
Yes, there’s not only bad news in 2020, actually is being a good year appart from all the nonesese, of course.
I had time for ceramics, but it’s been some weeks since I go to the studio and I am really missing my weekly date.
I still have my wheel at home, but again…sometimes you can’t find the time for fun.
I already told you I love Fall. Autumn is the coolest season (in the sense of being cool, not the weather 😎)
One of the things I enjoy the most is walking and watching the landscape change its colours day by day. It’s so beautiful. So freaking beautiful. I feel like a gnome or a fairy or something like that walking through the woods in Autumn.
I managed to have some (quite a lot) fun moments with the neighbours, and we ended up improvising a lot of dinners together.
It wasn’t in October, but two days ago Orballo released the new Christmas tea blend. And I wanted to tell you that I was the one mixing the herbs to get the perfect Christmas flavour. I am so thrilled that everybody is liking it 😍
I’ve also been working on other side projects, that I’d probably share with you next month. And some other side projects for 2021 and 2022, but that’s another story. I’m excited. And happy.
What about you? What have you been doing lately? Don’t forget to share anything in the comments, or through my social media accounts. Instagram, facebook or twitter. I really like to connect with you (I’m a Libra, ok? 😛)
If you want to check out some of the Halloween recipes I was talking about, they are very easy, quick and delicious.
It doesn’t need to be Halloween to cook something amazing 😋
Like this Pumpkin Pancakes:
Or this Colcannon:
Or maybe this delicious sweet loaf: Barmbrack
Just don’t forget to have fun and keep fooding!
